Employee Navigator Launches BambooHR Payroll Integration to Simplify Payroll, Benefits and Onboarding

Employee Navigator’s integration with BambooHR is here. The new integration connects two systems that brokers and employers rely on every day to manage HRIS, payroll, and benefits data.

Brokers and employers often spend significant time entering and updating the same employee information across multiple systems. In addition to creating more administrative work, these manual processes can lead to delays and data discrepancies.

The integration between Employee Navigator and BambooHR is designed to reduce duplicate data entry and create a more connected experience for customers. Employee Navigator sends deduction and employer contribution data from open enrollment, new hire enrollment, and qualifying life events directly to BambooHR, so payroll is always working from accurate, up-to-date information. The integration also connects onboarding: when a new hire is set up in BambooHR, their information flows into Employee Navigator automatically, eliminating the need to re-enter the same employee record across separate benefits administration, payroll, and HRIS systems.

With this new integration, users can:

  • Automatically sync benefits deduction and employer contribution data – from open enrollment, new hire enrollment, and qualifying life events directly to BambooHR payroll.
  • Onboard new hires in BambooHR once and have their information, including Cost Centers associated with corresponding Class structures or Employment types in Employee Navigator, flow seamlessly into Employee Navigator, eliminating duplicate data entry across benefits, payroll, and HRIS systems.
  • Reduce data discrepancies and keep employee records accurate and consistent across both platforms.

“Benefits administration works best when it’s connected to the other systems brokers and employers rely on every day,” said George Reese, CEO of Employee Navigator. “Our integration with BambooHR eliminates duplicate data entry between benefits and payroll, so our customers can spend less time on manual updates and more time taking care of their employees.”

“Benefits are one of the highest-stakes decisions a business makes, and for most small and mid-sized companies, a broker is how that decision actually gets executed,” said Brian Crofts, Chief Product Officer at BambooHR. “Some employers manage benefits themselves, and BambooHR’s benefits administration is built for them. Many others rely on a broker, and until now that meant benefits and payroll lived in two systems. This partnership with Employee Navigator closes that gap — the data stays in sync automatically, giving the employer more options between their broker and their HR platform.”
